Simplicity is a friend of mine and they have a contract with a New England company that runs three minor league baseball parks. They will be announcing a big show with Staind in Brockton and some mixed martial arts and more very soon for their summer season.
I've been booking the Freedom Rally for awhile and helped some great bands get some bigger opportunities. GRAVEYARD BBQ one of my acts, just won the 2009 HIGH TIMES DOOBIE MUSIC AWARD and two other acts I've been working with PROSPECT HILL/DJ SLIM, were also nominated. PROSPECT HILL and myself also picked up two front page stories in the EAGLE TRIBUNE.

Let me know which dates would work best and how many people you can draw to Marlboro on a thursday night. It's ok if you are from Boston and don't have much of a draw, I just need to know for sure to make the bills work.
We aren't making bands sell tickets (pay to play) or looking to get rich off this little venue. Just to build our shows and use this as our springboard for bands to play a first or regular shows outside of Boston for us. We will be advertising, promoting and this place already has a small built in local draw. Once we bring the big shows, we know this place will take off.

We also have a Sonicbids.com contest going right now. We are going to pick multiple winners and offer lots of free promotion, banner ads, interviews, shows, bookings, photo shoots. Contest ends in a couple of days and compared to past contests I've done on there, we haven't had many submissions. Your odds are good on this one. We will be picking multiple acts.
I was at Speakers last night and ran into one of the Jack from Graveyard BBQ! First time there. I like it. More than a small built in crowd, it's got a decent built in crowd. Lots of locals. Can't wait to our first show there. By the second show with DIECAST I expect it's going to be very busy. People already talking about the upcoming shows tonight. In Marlborough? Yes, in MARLBORO.
