John Stewart is Full of Shit

I know people like his show but let me break this to you.

This guy is full of shit, covering to support a corrupt party that supports what? Yes, the Democrats and President Obama he lies and twists the truth for are doing what right now? Bailing out the banks that John rails against? But the worst part, Stewart then pulls the out and out lies saying Rick Santelli supports or supported that. John "Full of shit" Stewart. Funny, funny, just keep lying for the billionaires like a good corporate puppet, John.

Notice how he never shows a clip on Rick Santelli supporting the bailouts to AIG and the like? Why is that? Because he never did. But apparently according to John Stewart if you work at CNBC, you are all at fault? How far does he want to take this? How about the people at NBC? Are they all at fault too? And their guests? I say we raise the pitchforks, John. Anybody that has appeared on NBC networks is responsible for the bailouts to AIG. Doesn't matter if you railed against them like Santelli or you said nothing? Right John? Said nothing like you? Isn't that your point John? Aren't you saying that if you work with CNBC you are all at fault for the sins of Cramer and the rest of the cool aid drinkers at that network? Even if you spoke against it? But what about your friends at NBC? And your resume, John? Funny how that guilt by association thing works, ay, John?

John Stewart on NBC networks. It's John Stewart's fault! Not really but certainly more than Rick Santelli who made the correct call. John Stewart, still doesn't know his ass from his elbow.

  1. We need a strong financial sector I agree, but they have missed used what they have got. Plus no one wants to bailout people who made stupid home buying decisions... o wait we have. The banks... so shout the fuck up. You dont know shit

  2. Space Ranger, I don't know shit? I worked at AIG for 6 years and made my clients money. I left the big paycheck in June of 2008 because I knew what was coming. My working class clients who followed me? They are up over 50% for 2009. While the rest of the world loses their shirt. I don't know shit? You don't know shit. While people I know, that read this very blog, know MikeCann knows his shit. Because I called it over a year ago.

What about the people that rent? Or the people like myself who are now in the poor house but made all my payments? I have no health care, and ridiculous licensing and BS that costs me more money than most make in a year to stay in business. Do we get bailouts? No.

Why should AIG get a bailout? They should be driven out of business. What they did is criminal!

I know many people who have been ruined, worked their whole lives, saved their money and been ruined by companies like this. And the government let them make billions and now wants to bail them out?

And I'm stupid? No, son, you are a damn fool.

Left/right mentality will lead to nowhere but divide and conquer.

Both parties are corrupt to the core. Obama is no savior but to AIG, CITI, the crooks at the top that stole all the money and now want us to bail them out.

  3. And PS Space Ranger, I am against the banks getting bailout money. You should be all less all knowing and find out what's really going on. Obama is still bailing out CITI and AIG. This is what I am most against. Let them fail. When the bad debts are called and they collapse, that's the time to call for bailouts of individuals. Doing it before that? Is pissing money down the drain. This is our future and you don't know shit. The reason we are done. Is because of people like you. Clueless with an opinion. Ever run a business? Licensed in the business? Have any experience? Or just a know it all college kid?

Nothing is going to get better bailing out AIG and CITI. Things only get better when the bad debts and companies are liquidated not kept in business. Look at Japan!

They had the same sort of crisis in 1990. What did their government do? The same as ours is doing? And the results of that? 19 years and counting and Japan is still down and now headed where? To a bigger depression. Those who ignore history? are doomed to repeat it.

20 year plus depression? You ready for that?

I'm not a Republican or Democrat. I'm a working class American sick of watching us getting screwed because people fall for the BS on both sides.

And I do know what I am talking about.

How's this for a solution you will never hear about?

Obama and the US treasury can print their own money (currency) with no debt owed to China or the FED. They can use that money to create new banks and bail out the average citizen. If this is an option, why don't the talk about it?

Because Kennedy tried it and Lincoln did it. Garfield talked about it. All shot.

Jackson warned us about it. And they tried to get him too.

    And Jefferson said what?

I can't really blame Obama, he's got a nice family.

But stupid people that fall for this left/right BS? It's your fault for not caring and putting identity politics before what is right for your family and the world. You don't really care enough to deal with the BS of the world. I understand that. But don't expect all of us to be the same. Some of us think about this stuff, 24-7.

It never stops because I really took seriously managing the life savings of teachers and nurses who saved their whole lives and were counting on me to know. And what I found out? Made me turn on this system run by the top Fortune 500. They run both parties, congress, the media. It's not a conspiracy theory. It's the reality of this world. I know because I have been inside of it and still standing with what I know is right.

But times are a changing and some of my biggest supporters reading this are in that media machine and my words and many others like mine are breaking through the BS. Truth is like nothing else. Obama can't deal with truth and you will likely eventually figure that out with your own life experience just like I did about Bill Clinton who I voted for the first time!

  4. When you blast the patron saint of high minded youngsters your going to get both barrels. I admit I was brash with my comment but AIG is going to be the fall of us all. and you had front row seats.

  6. i think this is actually an awesome piece by stewart.. it not only highlights the absolute irresponsibility by the liars thieves and scumbags that make up our country's financial sector, but it also points out how wrong and uneducated CNBC is. a channel dedicated to showing people how to make money and they royally fuck up.. i dont see how that channel has any credibility... and i dont think john stewart is slamming CNBC to blame them for the financial collapse or the bailouts, but just rather pointing out how pathetically wrong they were

  7. John Stewart is just the final nail in the coffin for what was once news reportage. He and Colbert are corporate shills, obviously, and are heading off any nascent free expression or originality that younger college educated people might otherwise possess.

By stealing people's outrage from them and then turning it into unfunny comedy Stewart and Colbert merely trivialise the massive and permanent changes to the strata of society going on around us.

Business as usual during alterations. It's all a game, and we have lost the game... Until we start taking it back and winning on our own terms.

Red pill, blue pill... how about no fucking pill at all?

  8. Sauce, CNBC has always been a joke. If anybody needed John Stewart for that? People are stupid. Look at the stock market rally yesterday! Citistreet says we are making record profits (when you don't include our record losses). And the market and news media all day say "Citi is now profitable" and people buy it. ?????

Stewart's piece sucked for many reasons. The first reason? It's like Captain Obvious. But the biggest is because he lied about Rick Santelli. Santelli has never supported corporate bailouts. He was the only voice of sanity at CNBC. And Stewart shaded it that Santelli is the same as Cramer and the rest. And it's just not true. So add one bit boring obvious and one bit deceitful liar and you have a piece that you thought was awesome?
