Is Scott Brown's office reaching out to local marijuana reformers? Yes.
Couple of things to note and one big question for our supporters.
Some of the emails, messages, and facebook postings are attacking Senator Scott Brown personally. I understand the passion and know you don't like the bill. But stick to criticizing the policy and not the person. It doesn't help and it actually hurts us. You should know that we are also lobbying Senator Brown to support medical marijuana. His staff has hinted he may be open to supporting that bill.
If Senator Brown signs on or publicly comes out in support of medical marijuana, would you be cool with calling off the protest? Keep in mind, that there will be upcoming public state hearings on the re-crim bill and we have pretty good odds that this will not pass, especially because this went down, and you all took action, putting the local politicians on notice.
