The 18th Annual Extravaganja Festival was held on the Amherst Town Commons on Saturday. The event was expected to draw more than 2-thousand people.
Things this year were a little different at the pro-pot rally. Last November, Massachusetts voters approved Proposition 2, which decriminalized small amounts of marijuana.
Those who fought for the change say it's a start. One festival-goer said, "I'd definitely like to see full legalization. It seems to be going pretty well out there."
The passing of Proposition 2 means people in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana can not be taken into custody by police.
Although they can be fined $100 for having the drug.
