Vancouver 'Prince of Pot' pals plead guilty in U.S. to marijuana charges
God bless Michelle Rainey. As many of you may be aware, the US government selectively chose to prosecute only these three people when many other people/groups have always and still to this day, sell cannabis seeds online to Americans. Are they prosecuting seed companies in Amsterdam? No. Why not? Why only these three? Because they spoke out for and sent their profits to marijuana reform? Yes. With these big federal charges against them, Michelle and Marc Emery have not once stopped speaking out for this cause. Nice to hear this is over for two of them but my government should have never prosecuted them in the first place. How many dollars wasted? How much time and money wasted to prosecute a medical user for selling seeds to a plant that does help many like herself?
Speaking out and being active while under indictment probably didn't please the prosecutors but in the end, it worked because this cause is popular and prosecuting these three is not. This shows once again that when we speak out, things do change, slowly but surely.
Keep speaking out, Michelle and we will keep supporting you.
