15 Years For Vegetable Matter in MA, Less Harmful Than Tobacco and Alcohol

Matt Anderson posted a link: "Police: 543 Pounds Of Pot Seized In Drug Bust". 7 hours ago
Instead of benefiting from potential tax revenue off the sale of goods from a decriminalized industry less harmful than tobacco and alcohol, the state is instead spending time and money to incarcerate nonviolent men for driving a truck full of plants...utterly shameful!

I agree, 15 years for vegetable matter, I don't want to pay taxes for that nor do I like paying to have undercovers cruising parking lots. And one of the reader comments at the link I agree with, "get it off the streets, regulated and age restricted, sold legally in the stores". That's the only way you get it off the streets. Now more than ever. The cannabis market is stronger than ever, the economy is tanking more than ever, what do you expect people are going to do? (Mike Cann) Share on FriendFeedhttp://www.wikio.com
