After Decades of Fighting Against It, San Diego County Approves Medical Marijuana Cards

San Diego County Supervisors discuss medical marijuana ID cards after a three year delay due to their lawsuit. The County Health and Human Services agency recommends a card program costing $166 per patient per year. Rudy Reyes speaks in favor of the ID cards but against entrusting the County to handle medical records. Wendy Christakes approves of the cards but objects to the price the County is charging. $66 of the fee goes to the state who actually produce the card. $100 goes to the County.
