Shawn Donovan, 29, was indicted today on witness intimidation charges for allegedly telling a photographer shooting a party at Revolution Rock Bar to delete snapshots of Donovan and Mario Mendez, who is charged with blasting another clubgoer outside the venue. Donovan also lied to detectives about knowing Mendez, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said.

Cops have also cited the bar with a rarely used violation for “non-cooperation,” claiming employees refused to help in the probe. Police became so frustrated they posted video surveillance on YouTube allegedly showing Mendez leaving the club and then unloading a string of gunshots.
Police later arrested Mendez and charged him with the shooting, as well as weapons and drug violations. Prosecutors said cops searching Mendez's Chelsea home found three loaded handguns, 99 vials of steroids, 900 Ecstasy pills, cocaine and OxyContin.
Neither Donovan nor his attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
My comment on this is from a poster to the Herald story. "How does a 29 year old own a bar in Boston?"
