Fox News Boston, WAREHAM, Mass. - A K9 officer with the MBTA is accused of animal cruelty after his family dog was found dead in a cage at his Wareham home. Officials say the dog died of starvation.
Antonio Carniero has been charged with one count of animal cruelty.
Carniero has worked with the MBTA Transit Police Department for 13 years, and has served in the K9 unit for the past two years.

Perhaps this man's punishment should be to go without food and water. Let him know the pain that starvation inflicts upon a living body...GOD made humans the caretakers of this world and what a shameful job we've done!

while makes no sense at all, however wrong it may be if you hate someone enough to kill them there is a warped logic. But to bring pet into your home and abused it makes no sense. Give it away, open the door and set it free but to keep it and starve it to death -- I will never understand
Maybe you don't know the whole story or the officer involved but I do and he would never harm his animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteTo the "guest" who said he knew this person and he would never harm his animals....then explain why the animal died of starvation!!!! To drop from 59 lbs. to 25 lbs. is starvation....not diabetes, not thyroid, but starvation!!!
