I'm well informed about what is happening in Amsterdam, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, and I can asure you that what Barry McCaffry is telling the people are lies, nothing more, nothing less. He has to persist in his non-arguments to garantee his credibility and his salary. But I'm sure he remembers his visit once as a drugczar to Amsterdam, he knows what he said there and he damn well knows what was left of his arguments after the Dutch gouvernments told him that he was talking nonsense.
ReplyDeleteWe have seen a change to the way the anti-pot people have been presenting their case and over and over I see the anchor people jumping in and correcting or pointing out flaws. WE keep saying the same thing 0 deaths. What do they not understand about the word non-toxic? I am a person in recovery and I agree any person in recovery would say that it is a gateway, because for many people it is the first and only "Drug" they use. They forget that they start the cycle with drinking coffee and eating refined sugars, both by the way which can kill you. Some have their first "Drug" as a drag from a cig or stolen cigar or draining the bottoms of cups at an adult function where the boose is flowing. The only reason it is a gateway is because it is illegal and profitable. If this was an unregulated crop like broccoli we would be buying it at $2.00 a pound, not hundreds per ounce.
ReplyDeleteWho is that bozo moderator? He wants "a world without drugs"??? Really? Shall we think that through for a moment before writing it into public policy? As for McCaffery, he's a proven serial liar. He mentions the 'problems' in the Netherlands, but the Dutch have a LOWER rate of teen marijuana use than the United States. Portugal decriminalized ALL drugs recently and their addiction and crime rates have plummeted. It's pathetic and ridiculous that this "news" show would give Barry the Prunefaced Puritan the vast majority of the speaking time and limit the response. I also like Van Dam's approach, but really....getting a professional wrestler to debate the former drug czar? In what world does that qualify as anything close to equal representation?
ReplyDeleteIf McCafferey had any guts or integrity he would debate Mark Emery, Jack Herer of Dr. Bob Melamede. Instead he is a proven liar.
