If you want to gain permission to video record, can't attend but want to leave written testimony, and/or for more info, contact The Joint Committee on Judiciary.
Call Mike Auizur With Senator Creem's office to get permission to film. (617) 722-1639
I will not be able to attend from noon to 2pm, so I would encourage somebody to be there to film any politicians who decide to spout reefer madness. I will help, edit, post, and/or promote any footage you might capture.
If you plan to speak that day, testify for or against either bill, sign in at the desk outside the hearing room.
The hearing starts at Noon with a break at 2:30pm for other bills and then resumes with any additional testimony at 6pm. Gardner Auditorium, Massachusetts State House, Tuesday, July 14th.
Check out the video of our March 31st protest of Senator Scott Brown's marijuana re-crim bill that garnered some media headlines. The re-crim bill being heard on the 14th is not the same bill but Brown is once again listed as a sponsor.
