"Numerous effective medications — aside from marijuana — are already available to treat nausea, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, pain and other ailments. Moreover, two FDA-approved drugs are based on cannabinoids — Marinol and Cesamet. If someone wants a marijuana-based medicine, they can get it through their doctor."
Marinol which the author supports is 100% THC, much stronger and makes one more a zombie than cannabis leaf that Mr. Breault is so concerned about. A local grandmother that Mr. Breault wants to ignore has testfied to this being her own experience. More on that in a few paragraphs.
"The bill permits the use of crude smoking marijuana to be used as medicine. Smoking is a poor way to deliver a drug."
Many use vaporization or consume cannabis in food for medical reasons and avoid smoking it. But even so, who cares. Are you going to take away cigarettes and cigars? Campfires?

Claim? You think it's just a "claim" that Marcy Duda gets relief from marijuana?
It's not a claim, it's a fact. Disrespectful to the utmost degree, Mr. Breault.
Running over the testimony of a Massachusetts grandmother in need of her medicine for what?
William Breault never mentions Marcy Duda or the many other medical patients like her who have testified at the same state hearings he has. The same people who often get quoted in newspaper stories relating to this subject. It's as if Marcy Duda, myself, we don't exist. Like Marcy Duda just wasn't featured in the Boston Globe. That the videos and her testimony below, do not exist.
