"Brad Pitt recently admitted to quitting a drug habit early on in his career after it affected his acting work.

But Quentin Tarantino, who has revealed Brad offered him cannabis on a recent trip to France, would beg to differ."

brad pitt is so much more canderous and intelligent than I had assumed he would be. I now have more reason to be jealous of that man. Great...

canderous? Is that like candid? I dont know about him. I like his general demeanor but then he says stuff like that, he quit to be a dad which to me is a ridiculous thing to say. But then I wonder if he's worried because they adopted kids and it can become an issue there. Why not say that instead though? Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam reportedly said they same about his pot use and having his daughter. But then they both still drink? I think parents actually have more reason to drink and smoke! And sometimes it's not a bad thing. My parents were strict and one of them had a tough life. By the rules, hard ass. Sometimes as kids we saw the other side of them when they had the occasional party and drinks would flow. To see a parent unwind in a mature responsible way? Is that bad? It wasn't for me. There's a time for work and a time for play. And seeing my parent relaxing with family/friends when often it wasn't that way? It was a good thing in this case. Not all drug use is abuse or negative. Each case is different.

But if Brad Pitt wants to be in my next video or pass me some hash, well then I love the guy! As long as he doesn't get mad when I Quentin Tarantino about it. Haha.

Some folks are giving Quentin a hard time about it. Saying he's got a big mouth and not a good friend. I think it's actually that he is a good friend. A good friend will speak out in support even if he thinks it could hurt an existing business relationship making movies. The comments Quentin made don't bag on Brad, they show him as being generous, fun, and yeah still enjoy cannabis. Is that so bad? I don't think it is. Not at all. Especially since Mr. Pitt does have lots of work and does deal with some hands on serious stuff in NO for instance..
