FBI Pushes For Boston Police to Accept Machine Guns
The Boston FBI that worked for serial killer, Whitey Bulger is asking that the Boston Police Department be allowed to accept machine guns. Reacting to public opposition Mayor Tom Menino did the right thing. Let's hope he sticks to it.
If Boston Police officers can get away with stealing cocaine from the police drug evidence room what will stop them from selling the machine guns to gangsters? Boston Police have been jailed for dealing drugs, do we need to give them more black market money? It's good for the budgets, too? Got to keep those crime rates up?
With the FBI's history in Boston, this quote to me almost seems a threat. Reminds me of when Cheney said, re-elect us or the terrorists are going to attack again.
"There's no imminent threats," Bamford said in a meeting with Globe editors and reporters. But, he continued, "All things being equal, if a terrorist decides, 'OK, we're going to do something like what took place in Mumbai,' well, where would you go? If you have a choice of a metropolitan city, would I go to New York, with 40,000 police officers, would I go Los Angeles, with 8,000, or would I go to Boston, with 3,500 ... and I know there's no assault rifles in the Boston Police Department?"
Mr. Bramford, in Boston, we no longer listen to or trust the FBI. Letting Whitey Bulger kill non criminal people with your protection? Like it never happened? Why are you telling terrorists that Boston is an easy target? Why are you trying to scare Bostonians to accepting police with machine guns? What happens if we don't accept them? The FBI going to put some Whitey Bulger Al Queda in here with FBI protection?
