Georgetown police recommend marijuana bylaw - Georgetown, MA - Georgetown Record
"Georgetown Police Chief James Mulligan and Lt. Donald Cudmore came before the Georgetown Board of Selectmen Monday night to suggest the town file and implement a Possession of Marijuana Bylaw."
Steven Epstein Responds: 'Currently if someone is cited and doesnt pay the fine, Georgetown Police have no recourse.'
This is not true. If you read this Donnie call me.
Of course later in the same story we learn everyone cited in Georgetown has paid.
'Towns in the area have passed similar bylaws with varying fees up to $300.'
Not our immediately abutting towns. The nearest to have passed at town meeting such reefer mad bylaws are Salisbury and Danvers and the Attorney General has yet to approve them.
