John Cunningham Writes, "Ron Paul Is Unelectable"

Ron Paul is unelectable -- at least, that’s what the DC insiders are trying to prove -- and that’s why they’re determined to defeat Rand Paul in 2010.

If Rand gets elected, everything changes. Suddenly, we are electable. We've shown that the Ron Paul message resonates with the voters. Next thing you know, we'll be electing people all over the place. They simply cannot let that happen!

That’s why they’re lining up behind Trey Grayson, Rand Paul’s primary opponent. On September 23, twenty-three Republican Senators will host a $500-a-plate fundraising dinner for Grayson. It will be a huge affair, and Grayson will probably rake in a half million dollars, mostly in the form of checks for $1,000 or more.

In response, we’re having a money bomb on the same day. Nicknamed "Kentucky Fight: We the People versus the DC Insiders", the official goal is for 5,000 people to donate $100 each, for a grand total of $500K, but I think we can do better. Imagine the headlines if we raise $1 million!

Make no mistake. This is not just about one Senate race. This is an opening skirmish in Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential run.
