Why Won't Massachusetts Democratic Leadership Help This Man?

Massachusetts medical marijuana patient recounts his medical conditions and the issues he's had trying to use less harmful marijuana to treat his nausea and daily pain. When will MA Governor Deval Patrick help? When will the Massachusetts Legislature finally show some compassion? According to a recent Suffolk University poll, 81% of MA voters support medical marijuana. That makes it the most popular issue in the state. More popular than the Beatles? What are the Democrats in Massachusetts waiting for? For more people to suffer and die without medicine that makes their life better?

I am not as sick as this young man that should be able to live the most comfortable life possible with the knowledge that is available in this day and age.To refuse him treatment that is less harmful than all the pollutants he has to put in his body to function on a daily basis is in inhuman.This made me cry to see and hear what this man has gone through.His life depends on the right medical care and our government is allowing cruel and abusive treatment to continue.I as a caring person, that has under gone some of the same experience with pain clinics and doctors for over 7yrs. myself want all to know I think it's wrong for any doctor or medical facility to refuse a patient their choice of care because some people are pig headed and refuse to have compassion.Sickened by the society we have to endure. Help this man and so many others like him achieve a level of ground in which to live a tolerable  life that he is being refused.

    I called & asked for state rep Jeffrey Sanchez today. I've also confirmed others have done the same. To many of us have not called. Calls get noticed. Expect to give your name & address. Don't be afraid, I go after them & I'm not. They have my name, address, phone #. If you are afraid, give a fake name, I don't care. Just call. It makes a difference.

    If you are medical user, let them know of your situation. If you aren't tell them you saw the video & you request that they help this man.

  4. Rep. Sanchez is on the committee that is about to vote on this. I've heard through the grapevine that he doesn't take the issue seriously. How can anybody not take this man's story seriously? How can anybody ignore the daily pain I have? Or Marcy Duda, a grandmother who has had multiple brain surgeries and needs medical marijuana?
