The family of a Worcester man who died in police custody said he was beaten by officers and his death has now been ruled a homicide.
Relatives of Kenneth Howe, 45, claims he was assaulted and their attorney said the cause of his death was "blunt force" to the head and chest.
The man was reportedly carrying a small amount of cannabis, which has been decriminalized in MA. A newspaper photographer from the Eagle Tribune took some photos of the incident which took place right in front of their office. Will be interesting to see if those had any impact on ruling it a homicide case.
