According to a state department cable released by Wikileaks, officials within the Kabul Embassy actively discussed arresting Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s brother, Ahmed Wali Karzai.
While the recent Wikileaks release has been called into question due to it’s mostly pro establishment stance, at least one cable seems to bring to light some startling information that should make all Americans question our reasons for occupying Afghanistan.
Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, was apparently under suspicion within the Kabul Embassy for his ties to the opium trade.
