Civil rights groups file suit to shed sunlight on police surveillance
At the 2009 MassCann/NORML Boston Freedom Rally, the Boston Police Department had a female police officer in uniform recording video of our speakers and attendees. At one point, from the stage while I was speaking I noticed that she was recording myself, so I thanked her and said that I looked forward to the day I might see it on youtube. I jokingly asked her to send the video over to me.
Perhaps we will some day see it on youtube?
If it's eventually revealed that there's a file on MassCann/NORML or Mike Cann, it will be a big week of media. Here's hoping!
if there's one on you,,,,,there's definitely one on me,,,after all, they shut me down because i was "trying to incite violence with my speech"!! D'OH!
