Hi Charlie Baker for Governor campaign,
I write in-print with DigBoston & Greenleaf Magazine, and others. Also have a local young people politics show on wemfradio.com, THE YOUNG JURKS.
Medical marijuana, Charlie seemed to be more open to it than I would have guessed in the WBZ debate. Is it just political theatre to go after the Democrat failure on this issue? My question lies at what will Charlie Baker do for the patients I hear from? For some patients this is an urgent issue. Governor Patrick & DPH have left the patients out of the conversation, denied them medicine, putting the losers of the medical marijuana initiative debate in charge of the program. The 1 to 1 caregiver to patient ratio that DPH added as a regulation denies two local moms, many of us watch on facebook as their children, two beautiful girls suffer daily from seizures- pain that would be alleviated by this medicine. That they can't find the right medicine, strain for the condition because of these regs does not seem to be a concern to the current administration. Because of these regs, access to their medicine is denied. With no dispensaries open. What would the Baker admin do for patients like this, to stop these kids from having to suffer through hundreds of seizures in MA?
