Mike Cann is a former athlete, medical marijuana user, a long time successful Boston activist, a radio host, and the weekly print "BLUNT TRUTH" Columnist at DigBoston.

An expert at MARIJUANA POLITICS.

In 2008, a historic win, the campaign for marijuana decrim in Massachusetts during his term as President of MassCann/NORML. Cann was working inside and out during that historic ground changing campaign and those that preceded and followed.

In 2010, the Boston Freedom Rally that he co-produced had an attendance of 50,000.

Some of the music artists he's booked for marijuana reform events includes Onyx, Tracy Bonham, Styles P, Termanology, Buckshot, Dresden Dolls, Prospect Hill, Rob Potylo, Bigg Nez, Roadsteamer, Tree, Scissorfight, Will Dailey, DJ Slim, Big Shug, Casey Desmond, and Graveyard BBQ.

Mike has been featured with HIGH TIMES MAGAZINE, WBZ Radio 1030AM, WRKO, WBCN, WAAF, NORML Show, Time4Hemp, MarijuanaRadio, Phoenix, The Dig, High Times, Eagle Tribune, Guardian, NECN, WGBH, Somerville News,  and other media outlets.

Mike Cann's youtube channel features hundreds of his videos. Mike's youtube videos have more than 1,000,000+ views and 4000+ subscribers. 

He co-hosted and produced the FLAGSHIP POLITICAL AFFAIRS show on UnRegular Radio, which then changed over to DigRadio on Saturdays for three years, The Two Hotheads show.

He's now leading THE YOUNG JURKS show, Saturdays on www.wemfradio.com at 6pm ET

Mike's lobbied, interviewed and sometimes protested many local politicians on marijuana reform to great effect.  From Congressman Mike Capuano, to Senator Scott Brown, MA Rep Tim Toomey, Governor Gary Johnson, Jill Stein, and City Councils in Methuen, Braintree, Cambridge and beyond. He's worked on many political campaigns supporting marijuana reform.
